No two of our candles have ever looked the same.

Every vessel started as a bottle someone else was finished with — a beer bottle or a yogurt container, a glass you'll never find twice. We cut it, sand the rim smooth by hand, and pour 100% soy wax with a wooden wick inside. Then we do it again, 2 dozen at a time, in a workshop in Charlotte.

FIND YOUR SCENT

The one on your shelf won't be the one in the photo.

Because we work from reclaimed bottles, the color, the height, and the little bubbles in the glass shift from candle to candle. We think that's the best part. Yours will be a little different from the one pictured — that's not a flaw, that's the whole idea.

Our Process

  • The Glass

Bottles that were headed for a recycling bin, cut and sanded until the rim is smooth enough to run your thumb along. An entire journey by hand before a drop of wax goes in.

  • The Wax

100% soy, nothing blended in, poured by hand in batches small enough that we know which afternoon yours was made on. It burns cooler and longer than paraffin, and the jar washes clean with warm water when you're done.

  • The Wick

A natural wooden wick, so it crackles. It's the closest thing to a fireplace you can fit on a nightstand, and it adds to the memories our candles bring back to you.
